About the Opportunity.

What is the training opportunity?

Social care workers can complete a fully-funded Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification. The programme is certified by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). The recognised certification helps aspiring leaders take the next step in their career towards early management or middle management.

With flexible study time alongside expert tutors, the Aspiring Leaders Programme allows a flexible approach for carers to complete the modules.

This Aspiring Leaders Programme is designed for:

Remote and flexible delivery, study around your other commitments for a few hours per week over 7 weeks
Suitable for those working in care who want to step up the career ladder to Team Leader/Supervisor level
Funding is available for those who are employed and unemployed (subject to eligibility)

Funding Available

Fully funded through the Department for Education’s Adult Education Budget (AEB).

The Adult Education Budget (AEB) is a fund that has been set up by the government to help support the delivery of education and training to people aged 19 and over. AEB funding aims to engage adults in learning and provide them with learning opportunities to help them gain new skills and knowledge to gain employment, progress in work or to further their education.

OR – If you have an existing Level 3 Qualification you must be Employed earning <£18,525 (£19,305 in LCR), or Unemployed.
